will not complete drive cycle?
03 f250 with 240,000 miles, No egr cooler, but does have the valve. over a month with the p1000 code, I have put 2000 miles on her in the past month, but when I pull codes with AE there are no pending just the p1000.

I have the latest. It did it in the past. I do find it interesting that I do not have a EGR low flow error. I will unhook the battery and start over to see if that will help.
