John Mummert Ram Horn Installation Bolt

Im installing a pair of John Mummert Ram Horns on my Y block. The previous owners had the stock manifolds held on with what ever nuts they cound find. Is there a correct length nut that will work in all mount holes on both sides? Grade 5 or 8?

A lot of orig parts were fastened on with a special length bolt, and are hard to find now.Measure the depth of the hole, + the thickness of the manifold, if the bolts are longer, cut them off enough so they don't bottom out.

Easiest way is to stick the bolt/s in with the manifolds off. I counted 5 threads past the base and cut them. Also, the word at Yblocks forever is DO NOT use manifold to head gaskets. You run the risk of cracking them. I checked the book and sho'nuff, it says to use graphite grease. I'm gonna use some high temp anti sneeze
