Run the code and comes up with bank 1 lean - 0174? (not at the truck to double check but it was bank 1)

No other codes, and at times it really has trouble accelerating, it almost feels like it is gonna die with wide open throttle, hear/feel a little pop and takes right off. There is no MAF senor on this truck

O2 sensor???

Any idea when the O2 sensor was last replaced? Any vacuum or exhaust leaks?

I have no idea just got the truck and ran good for a few weeks. all my research everyone always seems to have both banks lean not one....

but if the o2 sensor has 152k miles I could see it being shot

You have an "OBD II" system on that 95 F250? California? if so something I wasn't aware existed? (I believe all F250ies are "HD" in 95)

I ask because a P0174 is a OBDII code, "System too lean Bank 2"

174 is a car only OBDI code "HEGO switching time slow" (same code would be 175 for trucks) and both of those CM.

That is according to my OBDII software and OBDI book.

Where are you getting your codes definitions from? reading them with?

Assuming your truck is OBD-I and Speed Density there is only one O2 sensor, so Lean Bank 1 indicates an overall lean condition.

With unknown history, 152k miles, and that code, I'd go ahead and replace the O2 sensor with a new NTK or Motorcraft sensor. I'd also verify that there are no vacuum leaks or exhaust leaks upstream of the O2 sensor.

Right this minute. (until i post this and drive the truck again of course) seems that a new 02 sensor fixed the problem.

Autozone says it requires 2.....as a poster stated there is only one in the truck. But none the less it seems to have fixed the issue -

Thank you guys!
