Heres Help for the Inseam Challenged

Having read all the complaints about the height and depth of the 04 and up beds, thought I'd throw this out there. I bought my 04, 4X4 Lariat SCAB new, jacked it up a bit, now running tall 305/18's. Its up there!!!!! I am 6'2" with 35" arms so originally (OEM) I could reach way into the bed. NoMore... Several years ago I took a straight piece of broken shovel handle, cut it off nice, about 5' long, rounded it a little, screwed a heavy duty hook into the end and just leave it in the truck. I can reach in there from the side and the back and get most things. Kinda like the guy that leaves a rake in there. You could even use one of those hooks for hanging a bicycle from the ceiling. You can find em at any hardware store. Just drill a hole, put some soap on the threads and screw it in. Also works well against anyone with road rage!!!!! Hope this simple solution helps ya. I even had a piece of round rod once about 4' long with a hook on the end that worked well,..
