Looking for someone close that has a AutoEnginuity scan tool - in Orange County

Howdy all.

Well my 07 F350 has been low on power since I got it I think. I bought it about 2 yrs ago. Has 190K now. Just ordered a new FICM with some Eco tune, and hoping that fixes my long crank and lower the expected power, with lower MPG now then when I bought it.

But I would also like to throw a AutoEnginuity scan tool on it and check cyl diff, and injectors, etc.

Anyone around Yorba Linda have a AutoEnginuity with the 6.0 package?

I own a drivetrain store and can make your help worth it in exchange for cost on some products or future needs etc.

Thanks
Robert

Will you be making yours available for scans to those who can make it down to your shop?

Do you have a ballpark value for your time to read the codes?

NO shop. And once I get it and figured out, I might be open to letting someone see if they can make heads or tails of it.

There's a FTE'r up in Washington that has extensive experience with AE, and has a tutorial thread in the 7.3 forum.

It might help you get started, even if not engine-specific:
https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...n-session.html

Just be prepared to take some time reading through it, as it's many pages long. The guy who started the thread is a tech-type, so it's pretty comprehensive.

BTW, you do gear work, right? Your SoCal Interweb reputation looks good!

Set up crush-sleeve rear ends?

Just for further reference, as I don't currently have any needs, but I never know...............
