I bought it several years ago with around 99k on it.
Stored inside.
It had matching fiberglass running boards that were screwed into the bottom of the cab and behind the rear wheels. The big ZIP file has all the photos and close ups of this. There is surface rust in these areas. The drivers seat has some wear on the fabric.
Work done:
Brake rotors, pads. Rear drums and pads.
Shocks.
All fluids changed while I have owned it.
Radiator was rebuilt. Had a leak on one side.
Transmission cooler.
Removed the second cat. Actually helped considerably.
Rear axle bearings/seals. I put the bearings in due to the seal leaking, the originals were good.
Warn locking hubs. Have the factory auto hubs which are included.
I put the hitch on it. I will take off the brake controller as I need it in the other truck.
I put air bags on the rear to assist with towing. Really have not done much towing with it. The bags really make it nice to level it up if a load or for towing. The most towing was pulling a Jeep Grand Cherokee 150 miles on a 16' trailer. Pulled exceptionally well. Have pulled loads of hay and some gravel. Have hauled 1600lbs of mulch in the back a couple of times.
Problems:
Oil leak from rear of valve cover.
I Seafoamed it and now there is a slight exhaust leak from the front of the manifold. This is one of the 300's that do not have a exhaust gasket from the factory.
One of the two screws broke on the distributor when I got it. I put a zip tie around it and have been driving it ever since. The other screw is good.
The driver side plastic shroud where the seat lumbar adjust button and recline lever are located broke into a dozen pieces when it was caught on pants leg.
The previous owner had a full plastic bed liner which rubbed the bed rails as shown in the photos. I trimmed the bed liner down to just cover the bottom of the bed.
Everything works, very cold A/C, cruise, power windows and locks. Runs very good.
