I have the C.R Laurence version (Powerslide), part of a "roll-a-long" package the dealer had installed when the truck was new, down in Texas. Roll-a-long was a company that upgraded XLT trim trucks to near Lariat condition with a few perks. I dont think they are in business, but it looks like you can still get the C.R. Laurence window. I sure like it. Works very well.

I was afraid someone would ask, lol. I was trying to load the four wheeler into the bed for a trip to a local atv park tomorrow, it started to slip going up the ramp and I hit the throttle to make it up the ramp. Needless to say I didn't get on the brakes quick enough. I am going to investigate more in the morning to see if I dented the cab itself. I'm hopeful that the only damage is the completely shattered back glass, otherwise I'll be visiting my local bodyshop on Monday.

That sucks! Get that real good black sealant the installers use when you put it in the new one. Make sure all the surfaces are really clean and oil free before installing. Prep is the most important aspect to prevent leaking.
Good luck.
Good luck.

Vinny (trk98) and I recently installed an 06 power slider into my 01. Works great! Fit perfectly!
Bob, if you were closer, you could have my spare (manual) factory slider.

Aftermarket defrost systems can be found and installed.
I remember when I first got involved in this forum back in '06, there was a popular trend to remove the powered rear glass and replace it with a fixed plain rear glass with NO sliding window at all, especially in the CC's.

Plain glass being much more secure - less likely to be broken into.
While sliders are able to be opened.
I think it just comes down to personal preference.
