Where to buy clutch kit?

Mac's is the only place I can find that has a clutch for Floyd (55 - 239 V8).

I need an 11 clutch and the ones that Mac's carry do not have the right size
hole for the spline size of the transmission.

Anyone know of a good source? I need disc and pressure plate.

Well, looking at my catalog the 11" clutch is part #:81T-7550
The pressure plate is: COTT-7563-A

Is that what you have?
Looking at partsvoice.com it says Antique Auto Supply and ColectorsAutoSupply.com have the clutch and Bob Allen Ford and Green Sales have the pressure plate.

How many splines and what size hole do you have? Orielly has one with 10 tooth spline and 1 1/16 shaft. I think I have more than 10 splines on mine though....

Hopefully our parts experts will be along shortly to set the record straight.

I had to buy my Pressure plate at MAC's and my clutch disk at NAPA to match the trans input shaft - I also had to use a bushing to match the input shaft to the release/throwout bearing

I have not had very good luck with new clutches, they all seem to be made in china and are hit and miss quality.
Consider having your old clutch rebuilt....there should be a rebuilder in the NW.
I also suggest a new high quality throwout bearing.

Ditto on a quality rebuild. Also worth having the flywheel and PP balanced, I had one done and couldn't believe how much metal they had to add to the PP. Like an inch of 1/2" bar.

You can also change to a ball-bearing pilot bearing. Some people prefer the bushing but I really like the ball bearings. National Part # 203S Bore=0.6693", Outer Diameter=1.5748", Width=0.4724"
It's a direct replacement and doesn't cost any more than the bushing. Many kits come with it.

The transmission shaft is 1 3/8 inches with 10 splines. NAPA brought a kit in for me and the hole was only 1 1/16 with a completely different PP.

That's likely a car clutch. Was it a diaphragm PP? and more splines?

Not sure what a diaphragm PP looks like but it was thin and where my PP has the three rods for actuating the disc the one they brought in must have had 25 little prongs around the opening of the PP. It did have 10 splines.

The PP with 25 little prongs would be the diaphragm type PP.

That's what they brought in. They immediately took it back after having me bring mine in or comparison.

Is that a car clutch?

I dunno if you can even get a new Long style (3 finger) PP at Napa anymore, All the ones I have seen are a hybrid....diaphragm clutch with a Long style bolt pattern

Fwiw those Ford 11" clutches are all the same up thru 1964. After that the spline count changed. Might expand your search a bit.

The young fellow that helped me has developed a real interest in seeing if he can find what I need. He even pulled up Mac's catalog with me to help with identification and to see if he could do anything with cross referencing some numbers. I'm not in a rush so will let him do some "book learning".

I'm surprised your F-100 has an 11" clutch. Which trans do you have? A 10" clutch is more common. How did you determine that you have an 11"?

I went to NAPA in '07 to get a new clutch (a 10"), and they brought out the diaphragm clutch. I decided to try it, and have had very good service from it. It is noticeably smoother than a Long clutch, and I don't work it enough to care about any difference in "strength". My understanding at the time was that it is a Y-block service clutch. The 11" diaphragm may be worth trying, just make sure it clears the BH, as mine was very tight.
