Aero turbine location

Morning ford truck friends
I was wondering if those that have an aero turbine installed if they could post a pic of where they installed it? I think I want to move mine and wanted to get some input. I just put it where the muffler used to be.

On my 7.3 Excursion, I mounted it as close to the downpipe as I could. It was what they suggested for the maximum effect.

You don't have to do it that way, but that's what I did...

When I bought it there were no install instructions. Should be pretty self explanatory but I think I remember reading somewhere the you needed 12" before and after with strait pipe. Does that sound right?

Those that have an Aero turbine. What are your thoughts on them. I was just thinking of buying one.

It's a muffler that acts as a conical jet engine, when your truck is running it basically sucks exhaust away from the engine. This effectively and reasonably reduces back pressure allowing the engine to breathe and perform better.

It worked well for my 7.3 excursion as it noticeably decreased turbo spool time and kept EGTs down after I installed in place of the original MBRP muffler.

I don't think so. But much better than the straight pipe the previous owner had on it.

To me it does, when people hear my 7.3, they always complement the deep, throaty, and mean sounding exhaust note.
