First things first...start reading/researching and taking notes. A good place to start is here: FORDSIX PERFORMANCE • View forum - Turbo, Supercharger, and Nitrous That Forum deals with forced induction on Ford I6s.

Do LOTS of research. Have you ever turbocharged a vehicle before? It's going to be all fab work. It also takes a lot of knowledge and know-how since an improperly turbo'd engine's going to blow itself up.
Do searches on this site and over on fordsix.com. Know what your full plan is before you even begin doing any work.

I disagree. Just get the biggest turbo you can find and make it work.

This is what you need right here, it gets 5 stars on this site so how could you go wrong; Electric Supercharger 5 PSI Vortex

For the very reasonable price of only $200 it will make 5PSI of boost and get you 60HP and 100MPH in just 30 seconds.

900 Watt Motor
Safely generates over 5 PSI of boost
Computer Guided, Laser Cut 10 Blade Turbine
Spooling @ 20,000 RPMs+
Maximum Boost in less than 1/10 of a second

Gain up to 60HP! The GTE Electric Supercharger™ is based on years of technology development in electric superchargers. Using your vehicles electrical system safely, the GTE can add substantial amount of air flow into your engine. More air pressure in your engine, the more horsepower you will make. Unlike turbo systems, which have a lag before producing horsepower, our electric supercharger gives you immediate response.

It would not take a vehicle more than 30 seconds to reach over 100 MPH, during this period the supercharger would be working when your vehicle is floored.

Add one of these magnetic fuel savers http://www.performancechiptuning.com...+Gas+Lines/17/ and you'll be getting 50MPG to.

These threads always seem to go like this:

1. Join FTE
2. "Can I turbo a 300?"
3. Handful of responses from some helpful folks
4. Never hear from OP again

Sorry, couldn't resist.

How big of an alternator would I have to have to run 2 of these so I can have 10PSI of boost?

Dern it

Well since I think I started with a lighting issue, your stuck with me.
Still having light issues, but in the mean time I've got a reman long block clifford intake and exhaust headers with a holley 600 cfm. And thought why not put a turbo on it. Then I could finally work on my lights.

Attach two alternators to cooling fans and put then in the tailgate, free energy for free HP.

Google remote mount turbo....they mount down underneath to the actual exhaust pipe, so no need for a funky manifold....only downside is more piping and a little slower spool up time.
