And I nothing about it ... for m what I have seen on the Internet there isn't much info on this type of tirbo charger. I'm finally down to see if this truck will start it seems that everything works in it electrical and tia compressor seems to work is there anything I should know before I start it. . Any info you guys can give me would help. Thanks can't wait to take ot to the mid and see what this thing can do.

Welcome to FTE.

You are not alone. However, being an aftermarket set up, you are going to be flying blind with it.

Is it a 351M or a 400? How does it run? Trans? How does the conversion look?

I'd rather have a massaged 400 and not have to fiddle with a turbo, if it needs fiddling....

So you bought it without hearing it run, driving it etc?

Seems there were kits for these motors with the Rayjay turbo, some references to them here:

Rebuild kits:

TurboKits.com | RaJay Rebuild Kit - RJRBKT | Price: $245.00

First thing I would do is check the oil see how baked it is. Turbos are notorious for dying from lack of oil. If everything looks good dont be scared, fire it up. Aint no good as yard art.
