Not a dumb question at all. There are many abbreviations used on here. It's worse to read and not know what is being talked about and dismiss it. At least if you ask and get to know them you learn things that can help.

I turn the key until the WTS light turns off and then I start it. I usually go back inside for a few minutes since it is much warmer in the house than in the truck. LOL

We've been having around -20F morning around here and all i do is plug it in for 2 hours before starting. Well that and heating the starter solenoid with a torch because there is water in it...
