JM10,
What are you doing for steering? If hydraulic, you can now buy a P/S pump mount that allows you to keep A/C. Power by the hour makes such a kit. It uses 1996-2010 accessories (P/S, Alternator, and AC compressor).

That is what Im trying to figure out
The engine that I have (2013 Mustang) it already has the AC and alternator. The PBH kit uses the 96-10 accessories
I got an email from Sean Hyland saying that I can keep my current AC and alternator with their kit but at $670 I want to be sure...

Reply from KRC customer service:
If this is the Coyote engine our power steering kit should fit on it.The kit has a water pump pulley ,belt ,power steering pump bracket which bolts to the front of the engine next to the water pump on the passenger side. You can also use either the cast iron pump or the new aluminum pump.
This is designed so that you can use the current a/c and alternator with out interference.
Power by the hour also told me this:
Our bracket kit is designed to work with alternator, power steering pump, and ac compressor from 96-2010 mustang gt and some cobras. The stock coyote alternator and ac compressor will not bolt up. Keep in mind that the stock coyote ac compressor requires an expansion valve, something that 96-2010 mustangs do not have. Also, do not wire the older alternator to the control pack harness, charging issues will be present if this is done.

JM10, if you are using the 6R80, then tuner will need to use the OE PCM, and a ton of OE wiring to make it work. The 2011+ alternator is controlled by the OE PCM. When you use a control pak, Ford sells you a 1996-2010 style alternator as the control pak PCM does not control the alternator.

I went with the KRC bracket, thanks for your help.

If the tuner can't get it to work, you might want to contact these people:
The US Shift Transmission Control System
That was posted a few years ago and they haven't fully updated it recently, so they may have started to work on that particular transmission.
Sorry, I've only been loosely following, but when I was looking at 6-speeds, I ended up going manual just because of the ease of setup/config, but I did find these guys:
New PATC Products, Performance Automotive and Transmission Center - they have a 6-Speed Bionic 4L80E

1948 F1 Update
Since I live in Texas, I decided to drive to Memphis to check on the progress on my truck. Not much has been done yet on the engine swap but I did learn they will be using software from HPtuners.com to defeat the PATS system.
I purchased the SHM power steering kit several months ago and it's the one that mounts the pump backwards and works with the stock A/C compressor but have not installed it yet. The kit looks really nice and seems to have everything necessary to install it.
I'll be back in Memphis sometime next month so hopefully I'll have more information and possibly some photos.
