Nothing on my Oasis report.

I know of an 03 with the original factory flash that never had ANYTHING but normal service until the water pump went out at 380K.

IMHO :
Seems like a lot of people put too much emphasis on an Oasis report.
It is always possible that the work was done at a non Ford shop out
of warrantee. And just because you see a lot of work done on it
does not mean it a problem child. Could of been one of the dealers
that did not have a diesel tech that knows the 6.0L.
The things to look at are the current values of the live data.
Also thinks like looking at what filters are on it and if it's got
studs or not. Spend some time looking the truck over. When I
say spend some time see if you can get it overnight. That way
you know your the first start and then you can see how it acts.
Mine dumped me in a parking lot on the overnight test drive.
I took one look under the hood and knew what the problem was.
Bad passenger side battery cable to the starter. We made that part
of the deal. They replaced it and checked the batteries.

I went to get an Oasis report just to try and find out that much more about my truck. I've had it for a month now,and other than the turbo leaking oil internally, the truck is running great so far. Even the turbo works like it should with plenty of boost, its just getting oil all the way out to my tailpipe. Lol. Even though my truck was a one owner, I didn't know that person and every little bit of info I can dig up is certainly a plus, imho. However, I did score a brand new Ford oil cooler in trade for some old 80's model 4x4 parts I had laying around the garage. The guy that wanted them asked how much, and I told him to order me a brand new oil cooler complete with all necessary gaskets and hardware, and we have a deal. He works at the Ford dealer, so I'm sure he is getting a good deal on it, but I know what it would cost me, so I'm good with that. Oil cooler isn't bad now, I just like to stock pile critical parts. Especially when I can barter for them.
