I was curious if we can swap the XLT Manual HVAC Controls out for the Automatic Dual Zone HVAC Controls. I read a thread describing how the 2012 XLT model year guys were doing this. In the 2012 model year XLT they just have to swap out the manual control unit with the auto control unit...all plug and play. The Dual Zone Control Function doesn't work since both the blend doors on the 2012 XLT are controlled together by one actuator. Some of the 2012 guys have gone the extra mile and installed the extra control devices so the two blend doors are independently controlled and true dual zone is achieved. I just would like to have the auto control function. It doesn't hurt that it looks cooler too. Can this be accomplished in the 2008-2010 model year XLTs by simply swapping out the control units? It'd be a quick and easy job to just swap out the control units. Thanks!
