Just drove a 2015 Expedition EL
I've been looking to upgrade my 2011 Limited EL for some time now, but I couldn't see spending the money on a 2014 just to get the same basic vehicle.
The salesguy that I deal with at the local Ford dealer called me and asked if I wanted to testdrive a new Expo. Half hour later I'm behind the wheel of a 2015 Limited EL.
First, while it is still the same basic rig, the instrument panel/nav screen are night and day better than the old one. This Expo was right off the transporter, so I couldn't play with the nav, but the screen is much bigger than the one in my 2011. The instrument panel isn't the same as the F150; it reminds me of the Fusion.
Second, the Ecoboost rocks. I didn't get on it, as it had 10 miles on it, but in a six mile testdrive, the power was outstanding compared to my 5.4. Also, there was a manual shift available via switch on shifter.
Third, while the interior was still covered in plastic, the seating area looked similar to the 2011. This didn't bother me, as I find the current Expo comfortable.
Fourth, the exterior looked sharp, shipping stickers and road grime notwithstanding.
I will be stopping at the dealer later this week after it is cleaned up to take a better look, but at first blush, I'm pretty impressed with the 2015.

That's great to hear!
I've been playing on Lincoln's website to see what might replace our '07 Navi L... it's blue with a tan interior. Lincoln shows both are available... but not together. I get that some options are mutually exclusive, but I hate when they restrict "tasteful" color choices. I'd be excited to get a '15 someday, but I'd hate to compromise on my color combination.

GCW is still the same so a theoretical 9,200 lbs is still possible. You would have to scale the truck to get the true weight. My truck show's a cargo capacity however that capacity is the same as a XLT with no options, I know a King Ranch is heavier when you add in power running boards, sun roof, dvd, 20" wheels vs 18" wheels etc.

OP, what area are you in?
My dealer placed inventory orders for (2) 2015's for me, a black KR, and a black Platinum, (I've purchased several vehicles from him). Trading my 2013. Though I've always had 2-tone (black/tan) Expeditions, I'm now leaning toward the all black Platinum standard length, rear captains chairs, and leveling rear suspension. Wish I could get the 22" wheels and new suspension with it, but not available with the load leveling suspension, and I'd rather have that if pulling one of the cars.
Thanks

Our local dealer (I77 Ford Ripley Wv) has a 2015 El. Not sure when they got it. We checked it out tonight after they closed. It's a ruby red limited. Options from what I remember include the dvd headrests, rear buckets, power boards. Sticker just north of $65k. It looks good in person. We're waiting on a regular length to hit the lots for a test drive. To my surprise this one had Hankook at's. Rougher looking tread than I figured they would put on it.
As far as the ecoboost, it is a strong motor. We traded our 08 expy in March on an explorer sport with the Eco. It is a rocket. I personally hated the 5.4 in the expy. Ours had 3.31 gears and it was gutless. The expy motor gets the f150 rated 420 lbft rating. It will surprise those that haven't experienced it. The explorer shares the same hp rating of 365 but torque is down at 350lbft. Even then it torque steers like mad. My wife loves the power.
