So the other day the wife and I are at the grocery store. As we enter the card isle I tell her she should pick out a Valentines card for me. She says I should do the same. So we each pick out a card and hand it to the other to read. I tell her I love mine and she says I picked out the perfect card for her, she then puts the cards back and tells me, good now were done with that so we have our Valentines done!

Now I bought my wife a Christmas, Birthday,Anniversary or Mothers day gift in years. I do buy her things whenever I see something I think she will like. She tells me that is much better than my buying her something because it is some sort of occasion.

I did buy her a 1952 F-1 last year but to be truthful I thought we were buying US a F-1. Didn't see that one coming.

So tomorrow don't forget it's Valentines day!! As for us, my wife is working from home. I'm going to Phoenix with a friend to pick up his new car hoist.

Clearly you are mistaken, as I have the best wife ever. I'm sure your's is a really close second! Mine wants something fron '57 when she turns 57 next year. That's her birth year. I'm thinking a Ford station wagon with the cowboy/western motif embossed in the seats. We have a '58 aloha travel trailer, and she loves it. Ok, the last thing she is a really good welder with 3 years of training. Like trucks, it's great that we all love our own, just the way they are........

 

I have a great one too, she just wants me to do whatever I want to. She trusts and knows me well. She also agrees that most holidays are just commercial occasions. We are always getting each other something. But she doesn't weld! But never bitches when I work late or spend money on the truck - just the opposite. She wants me to get it going because she knows that I love it.
