coworker is looking to buy this and try to flip it for a fast buck. If he doesn't hit his selling mark, I get it for cost on a payment plan (cuz It's Winter, and that means I'm broke, lol).

Originally pics were provided from the CL ad he responded to, and then when he went to go look at it last week:

nope, that was my thought too!

Not that I need another project. But at least this can double as a storage shed.

I know where you're coming from being broke in the winter. The truck looks pretty good. She must have had a run in with a tree branch or something. Looks like there are a few spare parts there too. Not to mention the radio laying there. They must have been collecting generators for a while. I counted 4 maybe 5 in there. Hope you get it.

That would be the coolest storage shed I ever saw.

Factory radio, Magic Air, optional passenger seat. Add it up. If nothing else you get your money back I'd guess by selling accessories and still have the truck. Stu

Those seats, if original, will bring a lot of money. They look in good shape.

Scott,

I bought a panel about a year or so ago about in the same condition with two extra V8 flatheads for $500. That truck will need a lot of work to bring it back.

As a parts truck it would be worth at least $500. The radio is not stock so it wouldn't be worth much unless it's from another hard to find car or truck. the Magic Air heater could be worth a few bucks, maybe $50, if it works. The big jewel is the panel truck seats. Very hard to find an original driver's seat because most were discarded for modern buckets and even harder to find a stock passenger seat, many trucks were ordered without a passenger seat because it took up valuable room.

The back doors should be worth a couple of hundred if they aren't too far gone, they're almost as hard to find as the seats.

The flathead might be worth a hundred, maybe a little more it it's stuck. If it spins over, which I highly doubt just by looking the pictures it's been sitting outside for a long time, it could be worth $400-500.

Although the parts might add up to more I wouldn't give more than $500 for it, hopefully your friend didn't give more than that for it.

That is not a fast flip - There is a ton of work to be done and possibly some hard to find parts involved

If I brought it home, I would have to live in it or find another wife. A man has got to know his limitations.

You can compare this one to the $500 I bought summer before last. I will admit the one you posted is prettier.

I'm looking at spending no more than $450. I wasn't looking for one, but he found it, and asked if I'd buy it if he couldn't sell. I was like, "No. I mean no. Well. OK."

Bob's was pretty sad, but the barn doors and complete roof found their way to my place. I'd guess that Bob escaped without taking a loss on his. I don't think at $450 you'd get hurt, even if you cut it up like Bob did. Stu

Good luck Havi, it looks like a nice project for someone with your talents. I really like panels.
