Kool old original truck I always enjoy hearing the background of these trucks. And how the owners came to getting them. Your plans are good in my opinion easily turned back to stock and have an original car again. For tires if you want white walls possibly look into Coker tires. Heard they were decent seen them in lots of old cars since the white walls are popular.

Thanks, as long as this truck will be around. We can always change anything back because we aren't straying far from original if much at all. I do like cokers and have also kept them as an option. I think they only come in bias ply though, correct me if I'm wrong.
My pops said someone told him that you risk cracking a rim putting radial tires on. Lol, I've never heard of such thing.
clean the rust out of the center hole on the hubs and the drum should slip righ on.
The stud holes in the new drums were almost 1.5mm smaller than the original drums. So I enlarged the holes a little with a carbide bit and they pressed right in with some lug nuts.
I wouldn't mind touching up the grill but I'm afraid it will stand out.
The original hood emblem inserts are faded away to clear plastic. Ordered some from LMC and was a little disappointed.
They are plastic and slightly smaller than original. You can see the outline of the old emblem when held up to the truck. I think I'll just try and fit some inserts into the original emblem.
We have some coker classic white walls on the way! Took the wheels and tires to work and took the tires off. After work today I'll be driving into Chicago to drop the wheels off at one of my MR2 buddy's shop. He will blast the wheels and paint them a bright ford red most likely. Hope to have them back together by mid next week as long as the tires show up!
On a side note I picked up a clean unmolested ZJ that came through my work!
After getting with my buddy last night, decided to powder coat the wheels after getting blasted. Should hold up a little better with taking center caps off and such.
I got the wheels back from powder coating. Mounted and balanced the tires and threw them on last night. I think they came out great and definitely happy with them! Also took it for a spin and the brakes feel great!
Looking good. I like the rim color against the whitewalls.
Thanks. Keeps the white flowing now that the wheels are no longer white too! The truck needs a good wash and it wont look so orange. Its covered in years and years of Oklahoma dust/dirt and now some Illinois dust lol.
Also the seat is pretty tore up. We threw a quilt my great grandma made over the seat in my great grandpas truck, don't think too many people can say that!

Let see that quilt. Great Grandma's quilt in Great Grandpas truck, I'm envious.
Nice looking wheel/hubcap tire combo on your 64. What brand and size of tire are you running?
They are coker classic radials 215/75/15. I wish they were a LITTLE taller. We wanted to stay close to the original tire size. The hub caps are untouched aside from taking out some of the dents.
