1956 ford f-100 4x4 (Project Truck!)
This truck is originally from California, so it dose not have the typical utah rot! It has been in my family since my dad was a freshman in highschool. Awesome truck! I hate to sell it but i have recently bought a 69 f250 that has takin a lot less work to become my daily driver...
This truck has been converted to 4x4 using a Dana 60 rear out of a 73' f250, and a 62' jeep wagoneer front axle and transfer case, and has 4 inches of lift on top of that.
The engine is a 68' ford mustang 5.0 (302) which is bolted to a C4 automatic transmission.
The engine is currently in non running condition but i HAVE had it running. It needs a carb (4bbl) and some misc parts to get it up and running again. I have replaced the timing chain, timing chain cover, water pump, and probably more that i cant think of right now...
The truck has rust and dents and some cracked windows (see from pictures) like i said, it IS a project truck! It needs a bit of work to be driveable, but has tons of potential! the headlights need rewiring and maybe some other things rewired, but over all it shouldnt be to bad. ITS A 56! factory they came with about 10 wires haha.
It is currently sitting on 35/14.50/15 Mickey Thompson Baja Belted tires. The tires have great tread but i dont think they will be very driveable seeing that they have been sitting for quite some time! But they do stay fully inflated on 2psi of air
