2014 F-150 XLT 2WD
Hey guys, I got this new f-150, I'm looking to do a few things to it and would love some help.
Right now, its all stock.
I was looking to add a 60 inch LED light strip, if you could tell me the best brands. Adding a steel dual exhaust tip to replace the chrome one, it's not bad but I don't like the way it looks, I wana know should I get clamp on, screw on, weld on, intake and outtake measures, and the best brands. One of the biggest things I want to do is level it, since its 2WD, I'm not going to lift it but I was thinking ruff ****ry, I'm not sure if it's 2.5 or 3 or 2. I'm going to de-badge it, taking off the dumb planetford thing, thats going first, I hate it so much, then I was going to do the flex fuel and the texas edition thing. I want to customize the oval shaped ford emblems on the tail gate and on the grill, I don't know how to remove them, so if you had some insight, I'd appreciate it.
A few pictures.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR TIME

The planet ford, texas edition, and flex fuel are held on with just 2 sided tape. Some dental floss or fishing line will work and not scratch the paint. Then some adhesive remover or lacquer thinner on a rag will remove the remaining adhesive. No the lacquer thinner will not harm the factory paint. If you warm the emblems up first with either a hair dryer or the Texas sun on a warm day it'll make the job much easier. I would not suggest removing the F150 and Ford oval though. As there are locator holes in the tailgate for these nameplates. The grille oval is held on with some tin nuts on the backside of the grille. They should be a 10 or 11mm. nut.

Haha, I just couldn't stand to look at it, its not a sticker, its thick, plasticy, thing, I just used dental floss and it came off pretty quick.

Funny you guys are right, its a XLT, or atleast it says that on the side next to the f-150 thing.
I posted this yesterday but I hadn't had my truck for a few days, today I saw it.
I'm curious to know though, how do you tell the difference?

Looks like you are rocking the 5.0 engine seeing that your plate is located over the lower intake area and not offset. I heard good things about Roush exhaust on the 5.0's and I personally have a Flowmaster 40 Series on my 5.4L. BUT you say tip but reference an exhaust manufacturer....are you talking about muffler and piping all the way back to the tip or just the tip at the end of your piping??? If its just the tip at the piping that really is more a cosmetic addition and really doesn't have to be name brand (would suggest weld on). I would go stainless steel on that.

It would look better in pink. Turn all the chrome trim gold. Maybe add more gold trim to the windows, fuel cover, and tailgate. It definitely needs smaller tires and a lift kit. And if you can swing it with your budget then you should paint a mural on the tailgate of your girlfriend but in a classy way so everybody thinks she is a hooker.
