I have removed the whole cab to perform major over hauls , the first cab off took 12 hours , last one we did in around 5 , it was so nice to walk around the engine and work on the power stoke with ease , no more right engine compartment clearance issues, with proper lifting equipment if you have or can access them, make engine swaps, rebuilds and repowers so much nicer.

Hey Kert, I'm doing the swap for a 12v too. Coupe questions since my parts haven't come in yet. What do you have to do for the throttle cable and ford pedal? Also since you said the crankshaft sensor is garbage what's a better way?

Been off here for awhile, I came back because I had a pm to respond to. I have 50k on the swap and still going well. No problem keeping cool with e fans, even went over a year with no fans after the deer instance and never came close to overheating. I do have an all aluminum Mishimoto radiator though.

Kert, I'm looking to do this swap on my 5.4L Gas to 97 12V Cummins. With the 6.0 Diesel PCM to Cummins do you have a check engine light or get any trouble with state inspection? Thanks!
