Route 66 Cruise from Oklahoma to Amarillo

Route 66 Cruise from Oklahoma to Amarillo
Got any advice? Pic opportunities? Places to see? things to do? Where to stay?
My FIL and I are cruising our motorcycles on route 66 from Oklahoma to Amarillo This spring. I'll be coming from Tulsa and he'll be coming from OKC. Plan to cruise Route 66 the whole way. Stop and stay the night in Amarillo and then head back. Gonna take our time and get some photo ops whenever possible.
I think a couple things i want to see in Texas:
The Big Texan Restaraunt
Cadillac Ranch
Anyone nearby, in case we need some emergency mechanical help or moto storage?
