My HPOP reservoir cap in cracked and I am moving in less than 2 weeks. Does anyone know of anyway to fix the cracks in these things or where I can get a new one. I checked the Ford parts website and they don't have any in stock and for some strange reason there aren't any aftermarket ones like the front timing cover.

 

your gonna have a hell of a time looking for ont there is some on ebay but without the cover which makes no sesne i cracked my cover and im still loking for one it is a bitch to find and the ford one is like almost 300 unbelievabel ive used jb weld but the crack will just grow more you cant see it its almost like the oil is just going through the metal

 

If you are looking for a front cover, i have a new one but the oil pickup is on the opposite side as a 99+. You can get the pre 99 oil pickup and it will work. It is a brand new part.

My mistake, i misread! I thought you were looking for a front cover, not the hpop res cap...

 

Front cover and HPOP lid/cover are two different things.

So, International didn't work? It's where I got mine and was pretty easy.

Yes, we know. You have your own thread going asking for the same thing as the OP. Actually, you had two threads going asking for an HPOP reservoir lid until I combined the two, and now you're here in RavageX's thread spamming the hell out of it.

So to clear this up you need just the top flat cover or the reservoir that goes under it?

 

The op needs the top flat cover. I searched for one for a while as my oil pressure port was stripped out and never came up with one either. Very surprised this has not been made by an aftermarket company yet.

 

yeah that lid is hard to find no one sells it i was thinking can you use the early reservoir and just tie down the fuel bowl somwhere else or it wont work
