Usually when FoMoCo introduced a new model, only the first year is a complete service manual, the following years are supplements.

1973 would be the first year, 1979 is the last.

 

Thanks.. so sounds like I should be looking for a 1973 service manual..and 1974 and 1975 supplements. Appreciate the heads up on that.
