87-91 F150 a-pillar quad pods?

hi everyone,

Ive been reading around in the "a-pillar pod" threads for this type of vehicle. I think i've read about 10 (maybe 12) of them. I haven't quite found the information i'm interested in. Now I do understand the "thing" about using the 92-97 pods. The only things im not too sure about is what tool to use to cut the bottom part of the pillar off. I would imagine one would use a jigsaw or something along there but I want to make sure what would be the "cleanest" cust possible. Iv'e seen people one here use the 3 pillar one. But I want to know if anyone has used a quad before, if it fits, and if anyone has a picture of it. Right now, I have a dual pod installed with a trans temp and a vacuum gauge. My girlfriend decided to get me 2 gauges as a random gift. She got me a Fuel Pressure and a Narrow Air/Fuel ratio one. from what i understand the A/R one is more of a "bells & whistles" kind of thing but what the hell ill put it in (it was a gift after all). Can anyone steer me in the right direction? any help or information would be appreciated!
