I want a tough look without having to lift my 2008 F150 FX4 any Ideas?

Does anyone know what are the largest size tires that will fit to give my truck a tougher look without rubbing or causing any other issues? Again I have a 2008 FX4 SuperCrew. Ideas and or pictures would be great. Thanks!!!!

Is a leveling kit out of the question?

Not necessarily. I assume they are cheaper than the lift kits?

Lots... check ebay.com. 2-4" kits available from $40.00 - $60.00. Measure the gap between the tires on your truck front and rear to determine what size you need to get it level. Most of these trucks can fit 35x12.5" tires after a leveling kit install.

That is definitely an option. How hard is it to install the leveling kit?

I don't know. I had mine done on my old 05 F150. Cost me $250 installed and alignment done. I ran 34" BFG ATs and it looked really nice. I'm planning on going more aggressive on this 05 I'm running now. So, we'll see.

That's not bad at all!! Would you happen to have a picture of the truck you had it done to so I could have a visual? If not, no big deal. I appreciate your advice on this very much.

I'm sorry.. .I don't have a pic of the old F150. It did look nice though. I won't be doing this truck for at least another 2 or 3 months so, I won't be a good source of pics. But, look through the pic thread above and I'm 100% sure you'll find some trucks set up the way you want. It's a pretty popular mod.

I have an 07 SCREW with 2" leveling kit on front and running Maxis BigHorn 285's with factory rims. Love the ride and the look. Got my leveling kit on line for $65 at Heavy Metal. com. Think I could go a little larger tire. No rubbing issues at all. Hope this helps
