side tank sending unit
I need a new sending unit for my side tank. Long bed supercab 4x2. I have read that the SC tanks are different. Any of these work? Bent a little to work? lol Just want it to draw from the bottom and let me know when it's empty or close to it. Thx

I have a 4X4 so I don't know if its the same, but I could not find a reproduction version that worked. It leaked where the tube passes through the face plate. I was able to repair by brazing.
The unit has a 90 degree turn and heads aft and down. It looks like the first JBG one might do that, but then the connecting tube will be pointed aft. The original points forward.
Really suggest you take the time to pull the original unit so you know exactly what it looks like.

Thanks for the reply March. I read some of your issues when I did a search. Mine looks like the LMC and the short arm JBG units. But, my arm is longer, least it looks longer. My rheostat is junk plus lots of rust and my float is mia. lol Acording to the name on the photos, the short arm is 4x4, the long arm is 4x2.
