Odd Thermostat Temp for Coolant

I have been running my ScangaugeII for over a month now showing my coolant temp. It's been very cold here ( 20s Fahrenheit) and my truck only heats up to 175 degrees when it's this cold out and around 180 in 60 degree or higher weather. I've looked into this and it seems most other trucks are running near 190 degrees in moderate temp and 180 in cold temp. Should I change out my thermostat to a make the engine run hotter?

Looks like you need a new thermostat.

I installed a new stat last summer and running down the road I am at 186 190 unloaded with -10 being the coldest temp I ran it this winter.
