Dang, right after I posted that the picture appears...I don't know about this site sometimes..I see it now..
John I was having the same problem on my iPhone. I turned it completely off then rebooted and haven't had the problem since then. I'm sure now that I've said that it will start recurring again.
Nice find Stan. I saw your Blue Ford truck at Besant a couple weeks ago. I was going to say hello but no one was around your truck. I had my green 1956 F-100 there. Please stop and say hello if you see me with my Blue/Black 51 F-1 or the Green 56 F-100 around Regina. Tien

Just saw your post Tienmac. Besant Park was leased land farmed by my uncle until the provincial gov took it back and created the park in the early 60's. Always felt as of we were going to visit him when we would go there. Our farm where I grew up was about 30 miles from there, and in fact the reason I wanted the Mercury pickup was that it's the same as the first vehicle I ever drove at age 12. That particular truck that I first drove is still in the trees near our old farm, by the way. That park name raised some memories.
Thanks for the history on the park. It's a great little place and a nice venue for a car show on the grass under the trees. It sounds like you need to go get the Mercury from the old farm. I too learned to drive on the farm in Saskatchewan on a 52 Ford/Mercury. I was looking for a 52 Merc when the 51 Ford found me. This year I got to purchase the 56 from the same couple in Yorkton. The top photo was taken south of Moose Jaw at the Sukenan ship museum in May and the bottom one at Besant Park a few weeks ago.

As tempting as that sounds, I'm happy my wife is still OK with what I've poured into the M68 I've got. I'm after my cousins to go rescue that other Merc - in fact I'm out in Sask next week and will have coffee with them and that's on the agenda.
Tienmac - if you think those two belong on a thread called --derelict-abndoned-junkyard-trucks --- I will be very happy to take them off your hands cheaply. LOL
Two beautiful trucks.

thanks for the comments on my trucks. I realize they don't belong on this thread. They did look like some of the trucks on this forum before restoration.
