I see a pair of '60 ford wagons in there. I think I need one. Why? I have no idea. I just do.

You guys in the dry southwest are so lucky! A yard like that here in Central PA would be grown up in weeds and briars with trees coming up through the engine compartment or between the bumper and the grille. The vehicles would sink into the ground and then rust from the bottom up as well as top down.

I noticed the wagons too, the 56's would be nicer if they were 2 doors..
funny how times have changed, all the new cars today are 4 doors and what everyone demands, even the trucks...lol

Ya I know! I have this thing now about suicide doors and how perfect that would look on the 56 Ford 4 door.

My son will see an old car for sale, either 2 or 4 door, he'll get excited and tell me he wants it. He gets mad at me when I call the 4 doors "parts cars" and don't pay much attention to them......lol

The 49 Mercury four door is pretty cool with the rear suicide doors. Don't think I'd pass on one of those..I did have a two door for awhile and sorry it left my yard..

UPDATE

Got a call from my friend that is close with the owner of these old vehicles. Seems he may want to get rid of the 56 F250 and a Chevy Car. The price is FREE however i'm not sure i could even get the darn thing out of it's current resting place. He thinks he still has the title somewhere and would give me that as well. So now i have to decide if i can salvage anything from this old beast before doing it justice ans scraping what's left. I'm thinking some of the bright medal, headlight buckets, interior stuff/heater/etc. Maybe some of the driveline parts. I would think the title and VIN tag would have "nostalgic" value to someone, especially someone that has a good truck with no title. I laughed with my friend and said what if we hook it up and pull and all we get is the frame while the rest of stays there! If this "deal" happens i'll take lots of pictures and let you know.

Motor/tranny/seat,etc still intact. Even a shovel with all the wood rotted off shoved in the stake pocket behind the driver side. Owner told me it had a bum motor and he was going to get to it at some point. Yea right.

Local 1956 Ford F250 last registered in 1976. Only a few miles from my house and I didn't even know it was there for 40 years.

Actually looked like it was in decent shape when it was parked. Not so much anymore

The bigger trucks had them at least by 52. But when I say bigger trucks I mean bigger than F6.

But with the distributor in the front, it is not a Yblock, not even a Lincoln Yblock.

Nice MH by the way.
