I shortened the wheel base 12" installed the dana 70 from the dodge motor home. Drove it like that for a year with the flathead 6. It's now in the middle of a 460 c6 swap

I also had American wheel specialist in Pasco Wa. make me New wheels they are 22.5 steel.

Outstanding! Glad to hear that you made the Dana 70HD swap, and glad to see the 22.5s on your truck. Those look like the factory new variety they have available as opposed to a custom made set. The custom wheels would have old centers with five hand holes. Stu

HDWrecker, sorry for the long time lapse! I need to stay on top of these posts better. The shop that did our tires was called Kinnamon's Service in Greensboro, MD. They were great! Their ph# is 410-482-6916. And thanks for the compliments on the truck! We need to do a lot of brake work to it, replace the water pumps and rebuild the fuel pump but shes a trooper none the less!
