I bought a used 07 250 and the previous owner had used the bed as a drill platform for his bussiness apparently because there are drill holes all over the bed. I have a mig welder and thought I would fill in these holes by welding them. My question is should I disconnect the batteries before I start welding on the bed since I will be putting current to the chassis?
whenever i weld on anything with a computer, trucks to excavators, i unhook the batteries or cut the power just to be safe! youd probably be okay without but i would!
