You should check the large truck section of the forums HERE for more info. This is what I get from the vin you posted.

Decoding: F75FUC99672

Digit Usage VIN Decoded
1-3 Series F75 F750
4 Engine F Unknown!
5 Plant U Louisville KY
6-8 Mod Yr/Mfg Date C99 1976 (Mfg Jul 1976)
6-11 Sequential Serial # C99672 C99672

Serial numbers are sequential per plant

I think you may have typed the vin incorrectly or the decoder I used was inaccurate. This says it is 1976

In addition to what Greg typed:
"F" Digit was 391 4V gas OR 785 c.i. Cummins V8E-235 Diesel.
C00,001 through D82,000 was 1968 model year.

I find the vinwiz decoder is not as accurate on the larger trucks, but I try to help and welcome being corrected when wrong.

Welcome to FTE

F75 = F750 (gas).

F = 391 4V FT engine.

U = Louisville KY Assembly Plant.

C99672 = 1968, assembled March 1968.

I asked a moderator to move this thread to the Large Truck forum.

Thanks for your help I have had trouble finding any info on this truck. I was hoping to find a weight but there is nothing on line about weight or haul weight. I think it is a ten ton dump truck but not for sure it was a Knoxville tn gov truck. I bought it to use on farm but motor was locked up so I am doing a transplant, it had a 391 in it I am putting a 390 in it now should be done this weekend I am hoping anyway. Thanks for all your input would put pictures but don't know how
