It is a shame they sank that truck . It should have been put on display , for all of those that think this country stinks . It would be a reminder , of what people from other country's will do to get here and be free.
Looks like an ideal place, Joe! I would suspect it may be time to book it for '15, there has to be a lot of demand for those. What are the other cabins, the "non-deluxe" cabins? more, smaller cabins might be better.
Joe are you thinking about hosting an event down your way one of these years?
Yes for 2015

Yes Ross, I was thinking about 2015. As you can see, we were able to get into one of the Rustic Cabins and took some pictures. The Suite Cabins (Chalet) are closed at this time of the year, so we were unable to get into any of them, and the Standard cabins were all rented for the weekend, so we could not get any pictures inside them. If you go to this link https://tnstateparks.itinio.com/pickett/cabins# you can move your mouse to the various locations and get a pop up description. I have sniped those pop ups and will upload them to the Picasa album.
They also have a Group Camp that would be a heck of a deal, unfortunately it is a group of 'Bunk Houses' with bath houses that are separate. The only beds are bunk beds and has a capacity for 144 people. This unit is a separate private area of the park with it's own kitchen, dining hall etc. For a group up to 60 people, the entire complex is $200 a night. But I don't think that with 60 lower bunks, it would be what most guys would want to do.
