Anyone tired of "repair time estimates" ?!?!?
All I am saying, is I always multiply the time for repair on projects by three...and am always wrong...it takes me longer. Read an article where the guy said changing the oil cooler o-rings took about an hour or hour-and-a-half. I thought, OK, I can tackle the 4-hour job on Sunday.
Well...took me 8 hours total. Hours 5-7 were the worst...couldn't get the front housing onto the cooler tube. FINALLY got it.
Anyway, I am just a horribly inept repair guy...or do you guys suffer from OARTS "over ambitious repair timeframe syndrome" as well?
