Frozen adjuster screws

My C900 has Wagner style brakes in the rear with dual wheel cylinders & adjusters The adjusters screw in to brackets that also stake the shoes & are frozen When I get home I'll post pics

I was wondering if any of you were successful & didn't have to get the replaced
a brake company here that all the Fleet parts stores use said $150 per backing plate to do this

Here's what is required to fix this mess

1 5/8"-11 RH tap $30
1 5/8"-11 LH tap $63

Drill them out Hit the stars with a hammer & chisel & make them spin
If they don't spin either way then beat the star wheel till it collapses the adjuster screw & knock it out
I'll post pics of what I started with tonight
