electrical nightmare.....any help please
I have a 1990 f250. Here is the problem. I have low voltage backfeeding into the turn signal switch and the cold side of my stoplight switch. Because of this problem the lockout on my torque converter is not working right. I have checked everywhere for broken wires and found none. replaced turn signal switch. Has anyone had this problem before. If I unplug the abs module and the teec the problem is gone. but if I unplug one or the other it is not. It is the light green wire that is backfeeding. Any help would be so appreciated. Also If I pull out the flasher for the hazards then pull the button out on the steering columm as if I were turning on my flashers the problem is gone and tranny works the way it should. Only problem is all four lights light up when I brake.

No blown bulbs, I replaced the turn signal switch with one from ford. And I have checked the harness as much as possible. It is definately in the rear part of the system because I am not getting the low voltage in the front lights. I am stumped. No abs trouble codes either. Someone told me to test the speed sensor on the rear diff. I replaced it with a new one. I dont know how to bypass it to see if the ring in the rear end is bad.

Solved the problem, I have Led taillights and the diodes apparently burned out in them and it was sending a signal through the brake system that the tailights were not hooked up. NO load problem.
