1995 F250 coolant leak

I installed new radiator and new water pump and still get coolant leaking . it appears to be coming from what ever the water pump is connected to on the engine. It appears only to leak when parked on a grade. I did not replace thermostat but plan on doing that next. the coolant I find is accumulating behind the water pump just below the thermostat and to the right of it on kind d ledges on the engine. I have a photo but not sure how to post it. I just joined the site. I plan on using a pressure pump to look for the source. Would a head gasket leak only suck coolant in or would it leak it out as well?

I had a similar coolant leak after changing hoses. The NEW hoses had tiny pin holes down the entire length of hose. I changed them again and still found coolant on the ledges. It was loose clamps. All good now.

thanks I did not change the upper hose because they did not have it when I put the new pump and radiator in. I will chagne the hose and thermostat. I hope that is it it is confusing because I do not see how the water would come out from the top side when not running. I thought it might be the gasket behind timing cover and do not want to think about trying to do that job myself. thanks again
