Someone didn't measure first... I really doubt a typical truck tire will fit there. The indent needs to be up higher. There really isn't enough room on an F-1.

Not a bad looking truck. I don't see any mounting holes or bracket on the box. Why do you think a tire fit there?

Fender mounted spare tire carriers did not come as an option until 1954, so of course, as it looks, it is a homemade job.

Looks about the right height for a tractor tire. Sure it's not a product of the farmer being distracted by a hot chick (or farm animal, lol) standing across the fence? Just sayin.....

I also noticed that the stake pockets or not correct. I was trying to help out a fellow H.A.M.B. member that posted and but hadn't received a reply. I thought somebody on here would know.

Thanks for the help guys.

Note- My truck is painted.

O.K. these are the best I can do at this time. I've got painted parts all in the house and I'm in the process of putting it back together. I still have to color sand and buff so what you see is not the finial finish.
