1956 Truck Radio Power Supply -- Enclosure color matching

New member. Think I'm in the correct forum. I'm restoring a 1956 truck radio (Sams 333-6) for a fellow in Ohio. Power supply enclosure original color is tan/khaki. I'm looking for any tips or help on getting a good color match for new paint. Stumbled across a post by BigWin56F100 but I can't contact him yet since not enough posts of my own. Thanks, Tom

I see it, here I am! I have been fortunate enough to have purchased very nice units in the past. I have never repainted the power units. You are correct they are a tan color

Kevin, I was thinking (Uh-oh) do you think the tan/khaki color of the radio power box is teh same color of the arm that connects the seat back to the seat bench? Someone once said it is like the color of a brown metal folding chair, if you know what I mean...

CP, the guy with the nice blue 54 had a question about this a while back.

If anyone can get a number or a paint chip for that I would like to know... My truck is not perfect but I kind of would like to paint that arm as it was originally.
Like it was on this firetruck.

Thank you all for responding so fast. That seat-back arm color looks just like my power supply enclosure cover. I was hoping to powder coat, but Eastwood doesn't have anything close.
