The plan is now to sell the 2003 6.0 1 ton flatbed that I have and my Volkswagen to recover some costs. I still plan to get the 6.0 Excursion on the road as well. This way, I will have a 5.9 Cummins, 6.0, and 7.3 parked outside. This was simply to buy me some time - we needed a reliable backup vehicle as well anyway. I still plan on digging into the 6.0 before long. That is going to be our everyday driver. Hopefully you guys are still willing to help.

By the way, the 7.3 - runs like a champ. 25 degree cold start produced almost no smoke whatsoever. The thing is pristine. It was a family hauler that never saw a trailer in its life. One owner. Couldn't pass it up. We will be taking it across country and back in March. My wife is very happy.
AWESOME...that's a great find at a great price!

I don't hate you I ENVY you!

Have fun with both of them!

WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!?!?!?

Kidding

No one is mad you, you just got cooler since you're now a member of the "I own a 6.0 and 7.3 Excursion" club.

There are very few of us on FTE, the "initiation" however, starts with you detailing our trucks (both 7.3 and 6.0) and finishes with this:

We'll have medical personell standing by, but once you complete this part of the initiation without flinching or passing out, you're in!!!!

no, seriously. I am eager to get the 6.0 on the read. It is a beauty. Having custom front and rear bumpers welded on it at the moment...

Both vehicles are stock as stock gets. No mods whatsoever
