Glass haze after wiper cycle

Lately I have noticed a quick haze after blade passes. It's gone before blade comes back.
With oncoming traffic it almost causes zero visibility.

Replaced Blades then returned them for better ones. Still a haze.

What can I clean windshield with besides my Invisible Glass cleaner??

What could cause this problem??

Odd problem. Have you tried the rain-x?

Dawn dish washing liquid is a really good grease cutter. Make up a bucket of hot water with a good dose and give your windshield a good washing. Be sure to give the blades a good wiping too. Just don't wash you're truck in it too much though as it will remove any and all wax.

Bar keepers friend. It is a very very fine abbrassive. It won't scratch and works WONDERS on auto glass.

Does that stuff take out the haze if old windows? All the little scratches that add up into not being able to see.

Googled this problem and found its probably wax from car wash.

Dawn detergent, Pour Coke Cola, Strong degreser, 000 steel wool, Rub alcohol.

Lot of Ideas to try. I may give Simple Green and hot water and try on half. Dawn on the other.

We have a form of antifreeze on our roads before a weather system sets in... it makes a mess of the whole vehicle and it's a bugger to wash off with spray alone. Do you have the same?

I had the same issue. It drove me nuts and i thought i had some sort of oil misting going on with the motor. I took dish soap and thoroughly cleaned the window. Then i took Windex and cleaned the window.. installed new wipers. It was gone. I was thinking that i picked it up some sort of oil from the roads

Cleaned window with Simple Green. Found build up at blades.
Wipe down new blades, now waiting on some rain.

Hope residue was removed

If you don't already use, I'd highly recommend switching to the rain-x washer fluid as mentioned before. Or if you have a favorite brand, you can buy the additive and put some in with it. It's really great stuff... Makes driving in rain 100% safer IMO as far as visibility goes, especially with mist trails coming off vehicles, etc. I'll never use anything else or go without.

HKUSP, thanks for the tip on bars keeper friend, that stuff takes water spots off my windows like no other,it cut much faster than rubbing compound with no fine scratches.

no update other than I had wipers on to remove water run off from roof going down my hill.

Still had the haze on the couple of cycles of my wipers.

I think I may have used RainX brand window cleaner on my truck not too along ago.

May try dawn dish soap tomorrow
