OK team time to update you on where I am at, today was a sweet day as I drop Old Faithful for a the first time in a while and started the run in on the fully Rebuilt 460 (Top and bottom). She is sweet and I cannot say more!!

Here is some pictures of the some of the work, I also started a blog (Old Faithful | 1979 SuperCab 4X4 Longbed – Project) to track the journey of her rebuild.....she is never for sale and part of the family!

Since i brought her back from Montana USA to home here in Australia the below has been completed.

• New Chassis Bushing all round
• New Suspension bushing all round and tie rods
• New Shock and spring bushing
• Diff leaks fixed and fill Diff (Dana 45/60 work)
• Transfer case checked, oil leak fixed and painted
• Brand new custom build C6 Auto Geabox – had a T18 Manual in her before
• New thermal fan and custom kick down lines
• New Steering column, steering shaft, auto gear stick and steering wheel
• Radiator remove, flushed, service and painted – new hoses fitted
• Removed old bulb fuse box and upgrade to Blade fuses with a extra panel for expansion
• Ford 460 Big block removed, full top and bottom rebuild – minor stroke and oversized pistons etc
• New Edelbrock polished Water pump
• New Clapper starter and wiring, new solenoids and battery
• New lights fitted with upgraded wiring harness
• Rim remove and laser cut .02 of mm to remove oxidisation
• Midship fuel tank remove and restored
• Lot more little items, to many to list

Also what involved in removing the bed off the truck?
