99 f 250 super duty electric problem

OK here is a new one that stumped me
I have a 99 f250 super duty with 7.3 hooked up a cb when I key the mike truck dies any ideals

OK replaced with fotrd OEM still shuts off when I key the mic

ICP will also cause interference. You will need to keep your old CPS as a spare. They are known to fail at some time.

No amp straight radio replaced can sensor now crankshaft next

I would check your antenna cable, especially the shield. What is your SWR on the radio?

replace the ICP as stated. If cheap after market icp in there that is problem

Do you have a tuner? A while back the DP tuner had this problem with head lights tuning on, after market type, so this mitt also be the problem. You have to reroute the cables or put a, don't remember the name, on the DP cable so this don't happen. Just a thought.
