blactic plastic piece on center upper section of 7.3

Does anyone know a aftermarket piece to replace the stock one that breaks on so many?? I cant even find a stock replacement for the one that broke on my engine. Would be nice if there was a nicer aftermarket one to replace the cheap plastic one that came stock on these trucks. Even a metal one that would be more dressy than the stock

I thought he was talking about the cowl that covers the HPOP?

Just took a stab at it, I have not had anything break on mine so I am just making a guess. Hopefully the OP will chime in and give us more detail about the specific piece.

They may be referring to the fuel bowl cover that has "power stroke" on it

If youre talking about the engine dress cover, there are aftermarket options.

I have seen it listed as an engine cover although it does not "cover" the engine. I have also seen hpop cover and fuel bowl cover used to describe the same thing; however, if you want to use engine dress cover then I suppose that works also....

the engine dress up cover is the first thing i take off and throw in the garbage on anything i get.
the only purpose it serves is another thing to take off and put back on when doing maintenance or repairs.

If you want a stock one, call the local Ford dealer and order one, they are around 30 bucks or so if I recall correctly. If you want something a little more fancy, refer to the link I provided above or do a similar internet search and find other options.

Here is the number to your local Ford parts department 888-287-2615

Ive seen some on the obs trucks that cover a much larger area... and have a hinged door you can just lift up to change fuel filters. It may need an obs bracket to retro fit.
