Hi Stu,
I just read through this thread. I love the intense "attention to detail" you possess. Always have. I am also glad to see you post pictures of your "ham fisted" welding! To me, that just shows' you are still a good guy. honest and humble. Still a Marmon Herrington "Wikipedia" but yet not afraid to show some less than perfect skills. Still looks good to me! It's not necessarily the destination that is the importance. It is also the journey of getting there!

Thanks Jeff. Good to hear from you, and thanks for the encouragement. Somewhere up above one of the guys wrote something about doing what you can for yourself, but to know your limitations. There's reasons guys make a nice living wrenching, hammering metal, welding, and painting for others. This truck will be a mix of pro and amateur work like most. As long as my grinders don't die on me I'll get the metal work done. I'm pretty sure smoothing it out and paint will be done by professionals. Stu
