Mid fifty (shortened?) tie rod and dropped tie rod ends...what size threads for jam nuts?
Tried calling mid fifty today but had to leave a message. Are they open on Saturdays? I just realized today that neither the tie rod or tie rod ends came with the necessary jam nuts. I went to ace hardware and they said they didn't have the left hand threaded nut and also couldn't determine what size fit the right hand tie rod end either...
I looked on mid fifty website and don't see any dimensions, just an opportunity to buy the jam nuts...might have to.
Does anyone know what size the threads are?
Also, is the HD tie rod a solid piece while the regular is hollow? Since I ordered the dropped tie rod ends, it said I had to order a certain tie rod (shorter) that I assumed would be HD, but is hollow...so I guess it's a regular tie rod? That's unfortunate...
Thanks for any info!
