Farewells and goodbyes

Sad and excited at the same time to say that I traded in the 06 tonight. I stumbled upon a deal on a dealer demo 2013 that happened to be my "dream truck".
I will still stop by and lend my knowledge from time to time. I promise not to be a stranger. I have enjoyed hanging with you fellas and I'll miss the banter down here.

New truck's thread:

Here's a pic of the Ox as we took delivery of the new truck tonight. She served me well for 3.5 years. Sad to see her left behind.

good luck with the new truck. Enjoy all the new technology. You were certainly a help to me on more than one occasion. And that new truck is sweet.

Thanks fellas!
Big you're more than welcome. And yes new tech is right. The Sync portion of the manual is damn near half of the over 500 pages. I learn something every time in crack that little book open.

Yeah my dad has a 2011 F350 and a 2013 Explorer Limited. The 11 is kinda techy, but that Explorer, man it is crazy. Really cool technology though. But it is certainly cool being able to link your iphone and everything right into it and all the Navigation and stuff. real cool. congrats.

No kidding. The iPhone will do everything but read my text messages via Sync. Bluetooth music, turn by turn, and the works. It's pretty awesome. The heated and cooled seats are nice too. The truck has auto settings with the remote start and all of the climate controls are started with the remote. Pretty nice to crawl up into a warm truck and warm seat without havng to go out and do it myself. Spoiled...I know. Heated rear seats too. Power everything. I love it.

Makes it easier for Chloe to hack if she ever needs to help Jack again.
