Meet Tina! 57 F100

I figured it was time to post the build I've been working on since October.

Engine: 97 Explorer 302 GTP (stock)
Cooling: Jegs 2 bar alum Radiator, Taurus E-Fan
Exhaust: Patriot 4-1 headers, 2.25 mandrel tubing, Summit Mufflers, x-pipe
Electronics/Wiring: 94 Mustang EFI MAF - A9P. All new wiring from scratch. Impala Fusebox
Trans: 87 Thunderbird AOD (stock and came with the truck)
Fuel: 3/8" Stainless lines, Walbro 255 in-line, Tanks Inc 16g tank mounted under bed.
Gauges: VDO Vision Chrome XL Set + Tach
Brakes: Corvette Power master with 7" booster. Refurb'd brakes, new lines.

What's next… Crown Vic front end. Waiting for the next Pick n Pull 1/2 day sale :P. Go through the 3rd member to make sure the rear end is sound. Replace the front cab mounts, tunes, and new glass + seals. Vintage air AC box for next summer.

Thanks guys!

Truck is located in Sacramento, CA however was born and raised in San Antonio, TX from the Vin and previous owner history.

I'm looking at the GenII Compac. I already have a compressor in the truck and matching lines that came off the explorer. I'll have Pirtek make the flex lines making the rest of the install fairly simple.

I'm really excited about this truck, just need to get her to stop and turn a little more reliable. Hahaha

Hmm I have that unit in my 74.. Idk how it works yet but today upon start up of my new engine I had the pressure line from the water pump that goes to the heater core control valve build up pressure and come off the hose clamp and explode. Gallon or so of radiator fluid all over the cab from the firewall behind the dash all the way to the rear window So that's an issue im having with that at the moment.... And for some reason I thought that was sacramento in the pics. Huh haha lucky guess

Ouch! I'd be curious to find out what made the line blow off. Especially if clamped properly. The OE heater valve was shot so I'm currently running an open loop back to a Spectra heater core (didn't make any sense to have the OE hot tanked since I will be replacing later). Heat is controlled by Vent L/R, and two wing windows. Hahahaha.

Good call on Sac. The A&A Lighting sign should have given it away if you're familiar with the area.
